TOO FACED - PAPA DON'T PEACH BLUSH

Too Faced released an entire Sweet Peach range earlier this year, and in doing so re-released a cult favourite: Papa Don't Peach. This blush was an instant must have for me and had me racing down to Mecca with the last of my Christmas and birthday money on the day of it's release. This blush did not disappoint beauties, and has become one of my daily staples since being added to my collection.

Packaging

Papa Don't Peach comes in a beautiful cardboard box, mimicking those peachy tones and colouring, that the compact slips inside with ease.

The compact itself is metal and contains a mirror within. The only criticism I have about the packaging is that it doesn't have a magnetic closure.

Formula & Pigmentation

This blush has a beautiful peachy smell that honestly smells like the real deal. I'm obsessed with it's scent, and I don't even each peaches!

Papa Don't Peach is described as a peachy-bronze. Personally, I'm not too sure about the bronze factor. I find that this blush looks very natural on my super pale skin. The pigmentation is beautiful when applied and can be built up as desired.

Final Verdict

If you're a pale beauty, then Papa Don't Peach is a must as it creates such a beautiful and natural looking blushed cheeks look. I love this product and I recommend it to anyone who loves peachy tones and peachy scents.

TOO FACED - BETTER THAN SEX MASCARA

The Christmas countdown is on, with Christmas now only seven days away. Where has the year gone! To help my fellow beauties out during this overwhelming time of year, I thought I'd help out by reviewing a potential stocking stuffer or wishlist item  each day leading up to Christmas.

Today were focusing on this beauty - the mini Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.

This product isn't anything new or exciting, it has been out for years. However, for the Christmas season Too Faced have released a minature version with it's very own ornamental Christmas packaging. Cute! If you have a friend or loved one who had never tried the Better Than Sex Mascara, then I highly recommend purchasing the gifting the mini-version as it allows them to try it out before committing to their own lifetime expense of re-purchasing this amazing product. Moreso, if you're purchasing the mini version over the regular version then that means you have a few more dollars to buy them more makeup. #Winning

As I mentioned, Too Faced have released this mini in it's own ornamental packaging so you can literally hang it off of your Christmas tree if you want. What girl doesn't want a Christmas tree full of makeup ornaments hanging off it? #Lifegoals

Formula & Pigmentation

I have light brown eyelashes which I always forget to have tinted, however this mascara is such an intense black that I don't really need to bother tinting my lashes. Better Than Sex gives my lashes a full luscious coating every time and keeps my lashes black, smudge proof and curled exactly the way that I've always wanted all day long. #wherehaveyoubeenallmylife?

Final Verdict

I had never tried this mascara before due to the pricetag, however this very cheap mini version was exactly what I was after in terms of affordability. After having tried this and worn it everyday for the past month, I can say with absolute certainty that I am head over heels in love and will never ever buy another brand of mascara again. Too Faced, I am yours for life #xoxo

TOO FACED - LIP INJECTION

Kylie Jenner's (altered) lips have set impossible standards for all of us gals. From humble thin lip beginnings, Kylie has been able to wow the world with her plumped up pout. Up until recently I hadn't really paid much attention to the size of my lips and had never thought about whether my lips were too thin or too small. 

I've seen lots of beauties lately who have had fillers to improve the appearance, fullness and shapes of their lips. All I can say is wowie! Fillers are a magical thing! Unfortunately I'm not fond of needles or flushed with cash so alternative lip plumping products have been on the agenda.

Thankfully, my fairy godmother opened up a Mecca Maxima in my area and I rushed straight over to check-out Too Faced Lip Injections to plump up my sad, small lips.

Packaging

Too Faced can do no wrong when it comes to their packaging! It's cute, girly and petite. Everything a Too Faced lover could wish for! 

The gloss tube is clear in colour which allows you to see the beautiful pink Lip Injection product within. Inside is a flat wand, similar to the one used by Black Moon Cosmetics, which allows for easy product application.

Formula & Pigmentation

This product smells amazing!! I can't really describe it, but think sweet and fruity. Anyway, I'm a huge fan of the smell.

As for the formula, the gloss itself is quite thick and quite a few swipes are required to cover your entire lips. The brush also struggles to pick up enough product when added back into the tube for re-application.

When applied, my lips turned a beautiful pink shade which is identical to the shade of pink that is seen in the Lip Injection tube. The pigmentation is brilliant. Did I mention that this also doubles as a lip gloss? It's very glossy however is tacky and remains so until it is wiped off or worn off. 

User Friendly & Comfort

This product is super easy to apply. Just apply like a regular lip gloss or lipstick and voila, you've got it! Too Faced do advise that the product should only be applied to the lips and to be wiped away immediately if applied to the skin due to potential accidental plumping.

Lip Injection is activated when applied to the lips and a tingling sensation occurs. I found that within a few minutes  of testing this at Mecca my lips were plumper, pinker and much glossier. Winning! Unfortunately as I later found out, my plumped up lips quickly deflated. I might be being generous when I say that the effects of the lip plumping lasted sixty minutes. Although the results may have been instant, they let me down just as quickly as my lips deflated back to their usual boring selves.

Final Verdict

I really wanted a quick fix that didn't require fillers and needles, and this product let me down. Is it cute? Check. Does it smell amazing? Check. Did it give me plump lips with four hours of longevity? Negative. 

I want to love Too Faced, but all of their products have left me feeling lacklustre so far. I  do not recommend that you beauties purchase this particular product and I will continue my search for a lip plumper that holds up to its promises.

Beauties please let me know if you have any lip plumping recommendations. I'm dying to try some more out.

It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time!

This is the newest palette from Too Faced, and I'm in love. I've been eyeing this one off on Instagram for months, and knew from the moment that I first saw it that I had to have it. I'll admit, this one was a little bit of an impulse buy, and a wee bit because of how cute this pallet is!

Too Faced have gone the extra mile with this palette and created stunning packaging that resembles a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Genius! 

The palette packaging is metal, with a magnetic clasp which we're loving. There is a mirror provided inside for beauties on the go. Did I mention that it has a beautiful chocolate-peanut butter smell to it? Too Faced, you are making my sensory dreams come true!

Formula & Pigmentation

During my obsessive instagraming PB&J phase, I initially thought that this palette was comprised of beautiful browns and awesome purples. BIG NOPE. As I found out today, this palette is comprised of orange and purple shades. Oh well. No time like the present to begin experimenting with orange shadows.

The shadows are all highly pigmented and have a great pay off, however I did find them difficult to build up and blend which is disappointing considering the rave reviews that Too Faced palettes receive. 

Too Faced were even sweet enough to include a booklet with the palette which demonstrates three different looks to try out using the PB&J palette

Priced at $58.00 AUD, this palette includes nine eye-shadow colours representing a PB&J sandwich and smells just like PB&J. How cute! Unfortunately this cutie is a Limited Edition release and sold out within two days of being launched in Australia! At this stage Mecca are unsure if there will be a restock, but keep your eyes peeled by checking here!

Final Verdict

I primarily brought this pallet just because of how cute it is, and because I wanted a travel size palette to be able to take with me when I'm travelling Because let's be honest, the UD Naked Palette isn't exactly small and travel friendly. I think PB&J has a lot of potential, and I'll need to leave my comfort zone to fully reap the benefits of all of the beautiful colours in this palette. If there is a re-release, I would recommend that it be snapped up if you're comfortable playing around with oranges and purples. Not browns.

I would recommend to anyone who wants to have a bit of fun with their look, whilst enjoying the amazing smell and cuteness that is PB&J.
